Ripe Strawberries thoroughly rubbed into pillowcases, sofas, and carpets

What goes through a 2 year old boy is quite clear. If left unattended "A general destruction" will take place in and around the movement of that bi-ped. So curtailing mobility is the key.

I pass him bowl of strawberries, and I move here and there just to avoid watching "big teeth dionsaur" for the 100th time. He bites into strawberries. They don't probably taste the same. He is now offended by the strawberries. He is not content to leave them alone. He wants to make sure the strawberries knows they did something wrong. He rubs a couple of them into the pillow. Few more meet their fate on the sofa. The rest he just smears them on the carpet.

The bowl is empty and him satisfied.

Carbon painting your carpets

A sharpner is a great toy for a 2 year old. There is nothing he hasn't tried with it. Every object that can fit has been sharpened. Now that he has tried all he is expanding his horizons.

So he pulls out the pencil dust and chooses a nice location, usualy the center of the room that looks relatively cleaner, and dumps the dust. He will proceed to clean it up with a paper towel.

The end result is an abstract mural, albeit on the floor and not the ceiling.

How to shampoo carpets with Sun tan lotion

Only thing worse than cleaning up a full bottle of sun tan lotion from your carpet yourself is your wife cleaning up a full bottle of sun tan lotion from the carpet and calling you at work about it.

I am not sure if sun tan lotion is good for carpets. But I got to experience the experiment. My 2 year old investigates. One of these investigations yielded a nice tall sun tan lotion. He used it a couple of times on his body before. He saw it done. He liked it. But he is not sure if he is missing anything by applying only a little.

So he acquires the possession and goes to his den behind the sofa and douses himself with it and the excess is offered to the carpet.

Marking his teritory

Nothing really is safe from this primitive instinct I suppose. I don't remember my daughter doing this.

The marked territories include spaces under kitchen tables, behind sofas, the bed, dark corners, carpet crevices, closets.
