It has been extreemely slow on wifi

It has been extreemely slow on wifi. My daughter opened it and I was not privy to the way she set it up in the begining.

I got it from her after a week or so. The wifi is painfully slow. Somehow it seemed to fixed itself.

google books application is not working

For some reason the google books application will not work. If I click on it it will show a message and disappear.

1.They suggest to power off and power on.
2.Change router to G-only
3.Tell xoom to disconnect connection when it goes to sleep

1) setting - applications - manage applications - 
2) go to the "all" tab
3) find "Google Partnership"
4) clear data
5) clear cache

Youtube showed up in the applications folder after completing this.

The above set of instructions worked

Make sure you are connected when you do this. when i cleared the data and cache as indicated above it didn't do much good as I was not in the range for wifi.

Once I got home and have the wifi up, i have made the change and restarted the xoom.

That brought both apps.

Depening on how many screens you have these may get placed some where on them.

One way to know for sure is go to search and type the application name. This will locate the app if available.
