Step1: capture the images with snagit or similar tool

Step 2: In picasa have the picasa scan your main root folder
pick a good root folder for your images for a particular topic. Otherwise you have to add a folder every time. Picasa won't remember crap. So it is better to have good folder to start with

Export the folder
export the folder for smaller size to a different sub folder.

Sync the sub folder as an album to Picasa web or google+ albums

Go to the album and walk through each picture
Don't capture the URLs from the album page. The images are resized in this view.
