I had tough time initially to insert the headphone

It turned out you to press it with force until you see the display temporarily indicating the headphones are inserted and active.

I sync photos with google plus which is really really convenient

I also use skype to call out of country. works ok on wifi

but has issues on the road. Not sure if it is verizon 4G or Skype itself. Somewhat jarring in experience...
