Snacking before meals

Apparently it takes about 30 minutes after you stopped eating for your body to notice that it is not hungry. The hormone responsible for hunger is called "ghrelin". Apparently it takes that much time for this hormone levels to subside. Looks like a 100 calorie snacks 30 minutes prior to dinner may do the trick.
