The most important thing is to keep your team as small as possible
When you hire more people, it takes longer to do the same work!

It is incredibly difficult to judge people with a short interaction
An interview rarely does it
A day is barely enough
A week may be
You have to work with them a lot to know
There may be some innate indicators, but no one, to the chagrin of the applicant looks at them: Honesty, Respect, Integrity, Empathy! How about those?
