This article talks about how to create a master page from the ground up.
Using this url you can tell knowledge folders to spit out only the "body" portion of the document to the browser. This is useful for storing and viewing such things as javascript, style sheets, and master pages.

I have implemented a home page scheme based on a entry in the users file set. This may not be very efficient. This is working for now. But consider alternatives and a better scheme to implement it.
The topics of discussion are
Why is it required? How to implement user description? What about user properties?
To enable, conditional url redirection, currently this is possible only with a filter. Develop a an exception generator part that can work in association with an ifpart to provide this.
Also see if this can be done using the redirect tag names. Have both anyway.

Public urls will fail if the folder name changes
